A popular painting of Mt Baldy as seen from Claremont as a storm rolls in; Suzan saw this many times on her way up to her cabin after evening class. Painted in shades of blue gray, it is punctuated by a golden moon peeking out behind clouds. One of Suzan's poems about the moon is brushed in kana. She brushed it near where her cabin was; almost imperceptible it contributes a gentleness to the overall forested mountain scene.
