In preparing for her Om Gallery Santa Cruz show for January, 2017, Suzan prepared a number of these Zen Brush pink lotus paintings. It is a vibrant and expressive watercolor painting of a lotus flower opening. Its petals appear in splashes of pink, red, and hints of yellow with an energetic brush bound by sweeping black brush strokes of definition. The painting offers a lively and dynamic feel enhancing and uplifting the viewer's energy. The calligraphy on the left side reads "heart moving art" and along with the artist's red seal adds a traditional touch to the piece. The calm but joyful energy will bring a smile to those who see it.
