Suzan likes to go to the Santa Monica beach. When she told this to one fellow artist, he made some discriminating political comment. Suzan doesn't think of what she sees at the beach as political; her thoughts are on the mountains, sky, water, and sailboats she sees there. She likes going to Santa Monica beach because that's where she was first introduced to California as a 15 year old girl.
        Minikins are small Zen brush watercolors that Suzan brushed en plein air at the beach or in her backyard garden. Some are otherwise experimental watercolors. They are 5X7 and matted in an 8X10 black or white mat, ready for framing in an 8X10 frame. Fun and inexpensive! They make nice gifts. This category will be constantly changing: watch this space!
