Mt Baldy Owl is a cute chubby owl, not quite like the owl that inspired this painting. Late one Summer night as I was reading in bed with my shutters open to the cool night air, a small owl alighted on my window sil. We looked at each other for what seemed like an eternity and then I said "hello" as he flew away. But like the owl that visited, this painting brings a smile to all who see him.
