Our Ancestors Show 2026

My Oct/Nov 2026 art show I'm calling "Our Ancestors." It is a show of my paintings of mountains and trees with moons showing in many. I want to call attention to this part of our past because I believe we are forgetting where we came from. It's very easy to stay inside and not visit Nature in its abundance. Our neglect is showing as many forests have been cut and mountains crumbling. Having lived in my local mountain - Mt Baldy - I have seen first hand how callous visitors are to trees and the mountains; we will lose them if we're not careful. And so having now moved down largely due to the unsavory sights of how humans are treating these gifts, I think of my favorite trees and paths even though I do not walk them anymore. This show is a tribute to their beauty and a shout out to humans to take care. Hang one of my paintings in your room and you may find yourself in the mountains!
